Are you ready for this treatment?

Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy involves much more time and effort than regular talk therapy. When you begin this process, you can expect a few things:

  1. Weekly commitment (required) For optimal results, weekly attendance is required at the start. With the progression of treatment, sessions can become more spaced out.

  2. "Homework" Your therapist will give you things to work on throughout the week as part of the treatment process.

  3. Exposure work It is likely that in your treatment process there will be exposure work. Exposure work is unique to each case and is developed with your therapist.

  4. Length of treatment is different person-to-person, but generally, treatment lasts between 3 months and one year.
